Associated Bank is introducing COVID-19 Relief Program, which is designed to alleviate some of the financial hardships you may face as a result of illness or workplace changes. This program features:
  • The suspension of fees on a range of loan and deposit products for up to 90 days.
  • Payment deferrals for up to 180 days on consumer, mortgage and small business loans.
  • Temporary payment relief assistance and fee waivers for consumer and small business credit cards.
  • The suspension of foreclosure activity on homes and new repossession until after May 20, 2020.

CARES Act and The Paycheck Protection Program for Small Businesses

The Paycheck Protection Program was created under the CARES Act to provide federally guaranteed loans to help small businesses maintain payroll and pay certain other expenses. The loans offered through this program are up to 100 percent forgivable if the business maintains payroll.

Business owners will be able to apply for these loans at any lending institution that is approved to participate in the program through the existing U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) lending program and additional lenders approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The SBA has many well-established lending partners including many community banks.

Wisconsin Department of Transportation

Since the COVID-19 pandemic required that we all practice social distancing, the DMV has taken steps to continue providing vital services to Wisconsin motorists, while limiting the exposure of our employees and the public to the virus. 
Today we’re announcing two innovative pilot programs designed to meet customer demands in the wake of the COVID-19 public health emergency. 
Beginning Monday, May 11, 2020:
  • You may be eligible to renew your driver license online and receive your new card in the mail. No need to visit a DMV Customer Service Center. Learn more at wisconsindmv.gov/renewDL.
  • Teen drivers under age 18 who have completed all driver training and other requirements may be eligible to have their road test waived through DMV’s second new pilot program beginning May 11. Learn more at wisconsindmv.gov/testwaiver. 

 Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation

We’re All In Small Business Grant is designed to help small businesses get back on their feet as they re-emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and Safer at Home, while also encouraging adoption of best practices to keep employees, customers, and communities safe.  Funded by the federal CARES Act, the We’re All In Small Business Grant will provide $2,500 to 30,000 Wisconsin small businesses to assist with the costs of business interruption or for health and safety improvements, wages and salaries, rent, mortgages, and inventory. The WEDC Board of Directors on March 17, 2020 approved $5 million in funding for the program, which will be known as Small Business 20/20. SB20/20 will provide grants of up to $20,000 to targeted businesses with no more than 20 employees to cover rent and to meet payroll expenses, including paid leave (including sick, family and other leave related to COVID-19).  Website
